Spring has arrived in North Carolina, and the NC Craft Brewers Guild is kicking off the season with their Hop Into Spring event, a month-long celebration of all things NC beer.

In 2021, pilsners recorded just over one million check-ins!Īnd American lagers? They're not the lifeless, fizzy suds your dad drank.Īmerican brewers have put their own spin on the style, often sourcing local ingredients to craft these deceivingly complex beers.Īnd while witbiers aren't lagers, they're just darn good Belgian wheat beers deserving of your attention as we head into spring. But we are noticing that pilsners have become more popular. Our Untappd data isn't pointing us in that direction just yet.
